Building Skills & Futures

Brick Masonry Training & Certification for Youth Ages 16–24

Why We're Here

The Briccs Program isn’t just about stacking bricks on top of each other. It’s about showing young guys how to build real stuff—like safe places to live, tight-knit neighborhoods, and actual careers that pay the bills.

We’re not sitting in a boring classroom all day. It’s full-on, sleeves-rolled-up, hands-in-the-mud training. You’ll be working on actual projects, getting your hands dirty, while real pros (who actually know their stuff) show you the ropes. Plus, you’ll pick up leadership skills, figure out how to work with people without wanting to lose your cool, and learn how to solve problems when things go sideways. Which, let’s be real, happens. A lot. And sure, you’ll learn the technical stuff how to sling a trowel or keep a wall straight but also get the stuff people don’t always talk about: leading a crew, fixing mistakes, having your teammates’ backs. You want to build for a living? We’ll help you lay that first brick.

What We’re Really Trying to Do

Outdoor Life Leadership? Out whole thing is teaching safety outdoors AND helping young men level up their life skills so they can actually get ahead.

And Briccs is the way they do that. Here’s how:

  • You get a trade skill that’s always gonna be useful (Remember, people always need buildings.)

  • We hook you up with mentors who’ve survived years on construction sites and lived to tell the tale.

  • You’ll see how skills that save your butt outside can actually turn into a paycheck.

  • You figure out how to put up emergency shelters for folks who really need it (which is awesome).

Bottom line: This isn’t just job training. It’s about learning to lead, but with bricks and mortar instead of cheesy motivational speeches. Real tools. Real impact. Real-life stuff.

For Sponsors:
Your sponsorship helps us cover training materials, tools, safety gear, and certification costs for youth who otherwise couldn’t afford it. Sponsoring BRICCS means investing in the workforce of tomorrow and strengthening community resilience today.

For Youth:
If you’re 16–17 and ready to learn a skill that can put you to work, BRICCS is your next step. No prior experience needed—just a willingness to learn, work hard, and be part of a team.

For Volunteers:
If you have skills in construction, masonry, or trades—or you’re just willing to assist on-site—your time makes a direct impact. You’ll mentor youth, help with builds, and shape the next generation of skilled workers.

Impact That Matters

  • Skill Development: Youth learn bricklaying, mortar mixing, structural design, and safety procedures.

  • Career Readiness: Graduates receive industry-recognized training and entry-level job opportunities.

  • Community Benefit: Projects include building outdoor ovens, small structures, signage, and emergency-use shelters.

  • Mentorship: Experienced masons, builders, and volunteers guide each student from first brick to finished structure.

When our youth graduate from BRICCS, they leave with certification, confidence, and career connections.

Volunteer-Powered Training

The BRICCS Program is 100% volunteer-led—powered by skilled tradespeople, industry partners, and community members who believe in giving back.

Every brick placed is supported by the hands of people who care. Every wall built is part of a much bigger picture: stronger youth, stronger families, stronger communities.
